- Device Identifier: A randomly generated, hashed identifier for your device
- Usage Data: Features used, screens viewed, and interactions (anonymized)
- Crash Reports: Technical information when errors occur
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do NOT require account creation or passwords
- We do NOT collect your real name, email, or phone number
- We do NOT access your contacts, photos, or other personal files
- We do NOT track your precise location (only general destination)
- We do NOT sell your data to third parties
How We Use Your Information
- Provide Services: Deliver protection tips, translations, and travel tools
- Improve the App: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features
- Process Purchases: Verify in-app purchase entitlements
- Customer Support: Respond to issues and feedback
- Safety Features: Enable SOS and emergency contact features
Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored securely with encryption at rest
- Device identifiers are SHA256 hashed before transmission
- All communications use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- We retain trip data for 2 years, then automatically delete
